My name is Stephanie and I'm a 21-year-old beauty, life and style blogger. I started my natural hair journey in June 2013. I wanted a fresh start because my hair had been through so many relaxers, head damage and color damage. So, with a pair of clippers (and help from my brother) I shaved my head completely. This was a pivotal moment in my life. This transition was hard and more mentally challenging than anything. However, going natural was the best decision I've made by far. I've learned to love myself, my hair and my skin. I now have more confidence and appreciation for what was given to me to work with! My #1 rule for maintaining my curls is hydration!  I have low porosity hair, so making sure that it's properly moisturized is the key to keeping my curls from being damaged.
