CURLYFEATURE – MEET Aledra

My name is Aledra Linen I'm 21 years old and I live in Georgetown, SC. My #1 rule in maintaining my natural hair is deep conditioning at least once a week or every two weeks. CURLYFEATURE – MEET Zhané

Hey, my name is Zhané I'm from Kansas and I've been natural for about 4 years now. For being 4 years natural my hair isn't at it's full potential due to me not taking good care of it the first two years I was natural. CURLYFEATURE – MEET Iman

My # 1 rule for maintaining my natural crown...

I pretty much never showed my natural hair and continued to damage it by not caring for it and flat ironing my "leave out" to blend. It was not until recently, about 2 years ago that I decided to go cold turkey and big chop once more. I gave up weaves, my blow dryer, and straight styles. So, I have really only been ACTIVELY natural for 2 years and it has been a wonderful experience.   What motivated me to make the committed transition was that I wanted to feel beautiful on the outside and comfortable with who I was. I was tired of not wanting to leave the house if my weave wasn't done, spending...
