Hello beautiful curlies!!! My name is Jemima but I’m also known as “Limitlessbloom” because I believe in continuous self development from the inside out. I’ve been natural for nearly 6 years now and my number 1 motivation was my love for big hair. My relaxed hair never relaxed properly due to my sensitive scalp so my hair was able to retain most of its natural texture. I started styling my hair into bantu knots and afros, however because my hair was damaged from the relaxers, it began to break. I took that opportunity to do the big chop in Dec 2010 as I knew I was too impatient to transition and I haven’t looked back since.

My number 1 rule for maintaining my curls is to not be afraid of using water. I find water to be an excellent moisturiser for my hair and weekly protective styles. Before styling, I spritz my hair with a mixture of rose water and tap water. I then follow up with butters and oils. This allows my hair to stay moisturised for longer. In between styling,  I spritz nightly before bed to refresh my curls. Since I started incorporating the use of water in my daily regimen, my hair has grown significantly , sheds less and stays moisturised for longer.
